Terms of Service

Effective: January 12, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Stonecore Homebook (the "Service"), operated by Crown & Compass LLC. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is aimed at U.S. users; non-U.S. users use it at their own risk.

Use of the Service

• You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
• You are responsible for activity in your account and your household data.
• No unlawful, abusive, or unauthorized use; no reverse engineering or service disruption.

Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans and billing are handled by Stripe; you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
• Free tier limits: 1 asset; paid tier: higher limits on assets and PDF uploads (we reserve the right to enforce reasonable caps).
• Fees are non-refundable; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle (no proration).
• We may change pricing with notice; changes apply to future billing cycles.

Privacy

Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Content and IP

• You retain ownership of your data; you grant us a license to use it to operate the Service.
• The Service, logo, and software are our IP. Do not copy, resell, or misrepresent them.
• You are responsible for any content you upload (including PDFs/documents); you must have rights to it and it must not be illegal, abusive, or infringing.

Availability and changes

• The Service may change or be interrupted; we aim for reliability but do not guarantee uptime.
• We may update these Terms; continued use after notice means you accept updates.

Disclaimers and limits

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. Maintenance outcomes are your responsibility.
• Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 3 months; we are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, punitive, or lost profit/data damages; the cap applies in aggregate.
• No guarantee of availability or uptime; the Service is not a backup service.

Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms or law.

Termination

You may cancel at any time; we may suspend or terminate at our discretion (including for misuse, nonpayment, or operational needs). Upon termination, access ends; we may retain data as needed for legal, security, or backup purposes.

Dispute resolution

You agree to individual binding arbitration for disputes, and waive class actions and jury trials. Venue for any court proceedings (to enforce arbitration or otherwise) is in California, USA. Governing law: California, excluding conflicts of law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA. Venue is in California courts.
