Crown & Compass LLC operates Stonecore Homebook ("we," "us," "our"), a household upkeep app. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. We operate in the United States, are aimed at U.S. users, and California law applies.
What we collect
- Account info: name, email, password (hashed).
- Household data: assets, reminders, logs, documents you upload.
- Usage data: device/browser info, IP, and basic analytics events.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe; we do not store full card details.
How we use it
- Provide and improve the service (reminders, logs, documents, search).
- Send account, security, and reminder emails.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
- Billing and subscription management via Stripe.
Sharing
- Vendors that support the app (hosting, email, payments, analytics) under confidentiality agreements.
- If required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security.
- Never sold; no third-party ads.
Retention
We keep data while you use the service. You can request deletion; we may retain what’s legally required or for security/logging.
Security
We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is 100% secure; report issues to support@stonecore.app.
Your choices
- Access/update your profile and household data in the app.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Opt out of non-essential emails (not security/transactional).
Important notices
- No warranty; the Service is provided “as is.”
- No guarantee of availability or uptime.
- Not a backup service; you are responsible for keeping copies of documents you upload.
Children
The service is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you (e.g., email or in-app). Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
